In this course, students will be exposed to the current situation of women in STEAM. There will be open discussions regarding current events and problems surrounding this topic. Students will be challenged to "think outside of the box" and share their opinions among the group. There will also be female guest speakers who currently work in the STEAM field joining us to share their stories with the kids!

Have you heard about the gender pay gap? Did you know that racialized woman only makes around 59% of white men's earnings? If present trends continue, it will take up to 267.6 years to close the pay gap!

These monthly seminars will allow young girls to have an early start on identifying the inequalities within the STEAM field. They are our future generation, and the world is waiting for them to create change.
